संतरा एक फल है। जिसे चूस कर खाया जाता है और जिसका जूस निकालकर पिया जाता है। संतरे में विटामिन सी की काफी उच्च मात्रा पाई जाती है। यह शरीर को ऊर्जा प्रदान करता है।संतरे में विटामिन सी, विटामिन ए, विटामिन बी, आयोडीन, कैल्शियम जैसे मिनरल्स पाए जाते हैं।संतरा शरीर में कोलेस्ट्रॉल को कम करने में मदद करता है। आम और केला की खेती के बाद तीसरी सबसे अधिक खेती वाली फसल संतरा ही है। इसके जूस से जैम और जेली तैयार की जाती है।संतरा के लिए शुष्क जलवायु उपयुक्त मानी जाती है। इसकी उपज के लिए दोमट मिट्टी सबसे अच्छी मानी जाती है। संतरा की उन्नत किस्म के एक पेड़ से सौ से डेढ़ सौ किलोग्राम तक फल निकलते हैं। भारत में नागपुर संतरे की खेती के लिए मशहूर है। महाराष्ट्र में भारत के लगभग अस्सी परसेंट संतरे का उत्पादन होता है। भारत मे संतरे का कुल क्षेत्रफल 4.28 लाख हेक्टेयर है, जिससे 51.01 लाख टन उत्पादन होता है।

संतरे की उन्नत किस्मे – सिक्किम (खासी), कुर्ग, नागपुरी, किन्नू, किन्नू नागपुर सीडलेस, जाफा,डेज़ी, बुटवल, दार्जिलिंग, पंजाब देशी आदि कुछ संतरे की उन्नत किस्मे है।
