पपीता एक फल है जो हर मौसम मे उपलब्ध होता है। पपीता गोलाकर या नाशपति के आकार का होता है। यह फल बड़ा 50-60CM व्यास का व अंदर से खोखला होता है। आमतोर पर यह ½ से 2 किलो का होता है इसके अंदर खोखले भाग मे काले बीज होते है। पपीता पहले हरा और पकते समय नारंगी व चमकिले पाइल रंग का हो जाता है।
पपीता मे विटामिन ए, बी ,डी और कैल्शियम, आयरन व प्रोटिन अधिक मात्रा मे मिलते है। पपीता स्कीन के लिए फायदेमंद है। यह हाई- पगमेंटस को काम करने मे मदद करता है मुहासो को भी कम करने मे मदद करता है। पपीता स्कीन को हाइड्रेट रखता है।
